Important Information Before Your Photoshoot
Below is a collection of essential details to help you prepare for your photoshoot.
Please read this page thoroughly before making an inquiry and follow the required format.
Inquiries that do not follow the format will not receive a response.
Kindly ensure you review all preparation guidelines before contacting me.
1. Preparing for Your Photoshoot
* Photoshoot Start Time
· The shooting schedule varies by season. When you make a reservation, I will provide a recommended timeline based on including sunset.
· If you prefer not to include sunset, please inform me within 3 days of your reservation so we can adjust the timing.
* After Your Reservation Is Confirmed
· Once your booking is confirmed, you will receive a photoshoot agreement and a detailed information email.
· After this, the next message you will receive is the location selection request sent the day before the shoot.
· Locations are not chosen earlier because some areas may become unavailable. The day before, I will share the most beautiful and accessible options for that season, and you will select from those.
· In case of rain, the flow of the shoot may change depending on real-time weather.
· The day before the shoot, please send me your preferred location keywords. I will guide you on the final locations, route, and meeting point.
· Year-round location keywords: Forest / Field / Oreum (Hill) / Tree Path / Village (warehouse or stone wall) / Reservoir / Beach
Note: Oreum grass is brown from November–April. Fields remain green throughout the year.
* Accommodation
· Since you must visit the shop in the morning and again after the shoot to return the outfits, I recommend booking accommodation near the shop both the night before and the day of the shoot.
* Bouquet & Props
· I prefer a clean and minimal aesthetic, so please avoid large installation props such as garlands.
· Small props such as personal bouquets or bubbles are welcome if they suit your concept. Feel free to consult me.
· You may bring your own veil or rent one from the shop.
· Please let me know in advance if you plan to bring any props.
* Seasonal Flower Calendar
· Mid Feb – Late Mar: Canola
· Late Mar – Early Apr: Cherry Blossoms
· Mid Apr – Mid May: Sea Thrift
· May: Daisies, Roses
· Late May – Early/Mid Jun: Buckwheat
· Mid Jun – Early Jul: Hydrangeas
· Mid Aug – Late Aug: Zinnias
· Mid Sep – Mid Oct: Buckwheat
· Late Sep – Late Nov: Pampas Grass
· Late Oct – Dec: Tangerine Orchards
· Mid Nov – Mid Jan: Red & Pink Camellia
* Additional Items to Prepare
· Bride: Seamless, skin-tone undergarments are essential as visible lines limit retouching options.
· Groom: Black socks that cover the ankles.
· Comfortable shoes for moving between locations (slippers, hiking shoes, or sneakers).
· I recommend slippers that cover the top of the foot rather than flip-flops.
· Summer: Mosquito/tick repellent, portable fan
· Winter: Warm blanket, hand warmers
· Beach shoots (if entering the water): Slippers, towel, and 1L bottle of water
* Groom’s Preparation
· Brides receive thorough guidance from the hair and makeup shop; therefore, here are key notes especially for grooms:
· If you shave daily, please refrain for 2–3 days and shave on the morning of the shoot for a cleaner look.
· Please visit a hair salon 2–5 days before the shoot (including gray coverage).
· Short sides/back or down perm styles look best 2–3 days after treatment.
· Showing your forehead generally photographs cleaner unless you strongly prefer otherwise.
· As groom’s hair will not be retouched during the shoot, please style it firmly beforehand.
· Bring skin-tone undergarments.
· Please familiarize yourself with how to tie a necktie.
* Accompanying Stylist
· My focus is solely on photographing, so I do not assist with dress adjustment, outfit changes, or hair fixes.
For this reason, I strongly recommend hiring a professional helper.
· Without a helper, I cannot take responsibility for issues related to hair, makeup, or dress appearance.
· A helper makes a significant difference in both workflow and final results.
Please request this service through the shop where you made your booking.
· Friends or acquaintances cannot act as helpers. Their assistance often inhibits smooth progress.
· Friends and wedding planners are not allowed to accompany the shoot.
· If someone arrives unannounced, they must remain in their vehicle.
2. On the Day of the Photoshoot
* Meals
· There is no designated meal break during shooting. Please bring light snacks (sandwiches, kimbap, sweets, etc.) to eat between locations.
· Avoid red or heavily colored foods as they may stain your outfit.
* Transportation
· Each party uses their own vehicle.
· Many locations do not have nearby gas stations or chargers. Please arrive with at least 250 km of driving range.
· Grooms should remove jackets while driving to avoid seatbelt creases, which cannot be retouched.
* Delivery of Photos
· Original JPGs will be delivered via email approximately 10 days after the shoot.
· Originals are deleted from both cloud and hard drive 10 days after upload, so please back them up in two places immediately.
· Edited photos are delivered approximately 8 weeks after selection, depending on whether I select or you select.
· Photo selection must be completed within 6 months of receiving the selection guide. Late submissions cannot be processed.
· Edited files are deleted 7 days after delivery, so please double-backup immediately.
* Detailed Retouching
Included Retouching :
· Blemish removal
· Skin texture refinement
· Facial symmetry enhancement
· Hairline tidying
· Armpit/arm smoothing (within natural limits)
· Beard shadow reduction (when shaved)
· Teeth whitening
· Face/body shaping upon request
Not Possible:
· Weather modification
· Hair alterations (including gray hair)
· Removing baby hairs or stray hairs in backlight
· Tattoo removal
· Wrinkles hidden under stray hairs
· Clothing wrinkles or length adjustments
· Changing height for one person only
· Removing braces
· Altering expressions (e.g., hiding partially visible teeth)
· Removing glare from glasses
· Fixing protruding belly in direct frontal poses
· Strapless or revealing dresses may create strong crease lines or armpit folds that cannot be fully corrected. Please consider this when selecting your outfit.
· Color tone revisions are not accepted.
· One revision is allowed only for detailed retouching.
· Revision requests must be made within 30 days of receiving the edited photos.
3. Cancellations, Refunds & Date Changes
* Reservation Confirmation & Refund Policy
· Your reservation is confirmed once the deposit (30% of your chosen package) is paid.
Package deals may have different deposit amounts.
· Final balance is due 5 weeks before the shoot.
· 1-hour shoots require full payment at booking.
* Refund Conditions:
· Within 48 hours of payment: Full deposit refund
· 48 hours after payment ~ 12 weeks before shoot: 50% deposit refund
· Within 12 weeks before shoot: 30% deposit refund
· Within 10 weeks before shoot: No deposit refund
· Within 5 weeks before shoot (after paying balance): 50% refund of total package
· Within 1 week before shoot: 30% refund of total package
· Date changes for personal reasons within 5 weeks incur a 30% penalty fee.
· Reservations may be transferred. The client must arrange the transfer and settle payment directly with the new party.
* Changing the Photoshoot Date
· Date changes are allowed once, up to 5 weeks before the original shoot date.
· A second date change incurs a 10% penalty.
· Within 5 weeks, date changes are only allowed for certified personal emergencies or natural disasters.
· If weather conditions make shooting impossible (e.g., typhoon, heavy continuous rain), you may first reschedule or receive a full refund.
· Light rain (up to 3mm/hour) is considered normal.
Heavier rain allows for rescheduling or full refund.
· If the shoot must be stopped due to weather, a partial refund will be issued per the contract.
· Flight cancellations qualify for a full refund with documentation.
* About Jeju Weather
· Jeju forecasts are reliably accurate only about 2 days in advance.
Forecasts from 7–10 days prior often change dramatically.
· Rescheduling/refund decisions are based on the forecast 2 days before the shoot.
· 1–3mm rainfall forecasts may not result in actual rain and are often brief showers, so please do not worry.
· Daily icons may show rain even when it is forecast only for 1–2 hours at night.
Always check hourly forecasts for your specific shooting area.
· On the day of the shoot, I monitor real-time radar and live CCTV to adjust the schedule and route as needed.
